Egg

Eggs Rothko - Easy-cooked egg in a slice of Amy's Bread brioche and topped with Grafton cheddar; Served with broiled tomatoes & sauteed kale. With side order of hash browns.
OK, so I may have spooked out the little girl sitting behind me because I kept eyeing her fried chicken, but I had such a hard time deciding what to order! I just submitted my order for Eggs Rothko when the waiter came waltzing through with that plate of fried chicken, and I couldn’t take my eyes off of it. Fried chicken, duck confit hash with green scallions, eggs rothko, grilled cheese… what to do??? Oh well, I’ll just have to come back again. I was more than satisfied with my Eggs Rothko – the best breakfast for dinner I’ve had in a long time. Amy’s Bread brioche was delicious as usual – slightly sweet, soft and buttery, with that little easy-cooked egg nestled inside. I also really liked the giant tater tot posing as hash browns. Super crispy on the outside, super tender on the inside. My favorite part may have been the broiled tomatoes, though – I could have eaten a load of that slathered on top of a piece of Amy’s brioche.
